Christine is a nurse living in New Orleans who discovers the world is secretly full of supernatural creatures. Vampires kidnap her to use in a ritual that would allow them to walk in sunlight, but it backfires and she's imbued with the power of sunlight instead. Now she's in hiding so the vampires don't try and use her again or just straight up kill her because of what she could do to them.
